The warmup cool-off period is a protective measure that temporarily pauses warmup activity to your mailbox when it starts rejecting emails. This helps preserve your domain reputation and keeps the warmup network healthy for everyone.
Manyreach’s warmup system monitors how your mailbox handles warmup emails. If your mailbox starts bouncing messages, we’ll automatically place it in a cool-off state to prevent further damage to your sender score.
Mailboxes can bounce emails for various reasons, including:
Expired credit card linked to your ESP
DNS or MX records misconfigured or expired
Strict DMARC policies or spam filters
Inbox is full
Temporary server issues or delivery blocks
These issues are usually temporary, and a short pause allows your ESP to recover without further harming your sending reputation.
Once a bounce is detected:
Your mailbox is paused for 4 hours
After that, we attempt to send another warmup email
If accepted, warmup resumes automatically
If still rejected, your mailbox is removed from the warmup pool
To rejoin, you’ll need to verify that your mailbox can send and receive emails safely and contact support with screenshots.
The cool-off period is designed to give your setup time to stabilize, so warmup continues smoothly without damaging your sender reputation.
