Everything about connecting your senders (the mailboxes you send from) and keeping them healthy, with links to the detailed step-by-step articles.
Go to Senders and click Add senders. The wizard guides you based on your email provider.
Google Workspace (recommended: OAuth). One click, no app password needed. If you see a "This app is blocked" error, your Workspace admin needs to allow Manyreach. See Fixing "This App is Blocked".
Gmail or Workspace with an app password. Use this only if OAuth isn't possible. It needs IMAP and 2-Step Verification turned on. See Connect Gmail or Google Workspace using SMTP.
Microsoft 365 (recommended: OAuth). Each user must have Authenticated SMTP and IMAP enabled in the Microsoft 365 admin center. See Enable IMAP and Authenticated SMTP in Microsoft 365.
Personal Outlook.com / Hotmail accounts. Supported, but we strongly advise against them. Microsoft actively blocks automation on free accounts, so these senders are unstable and you'll likely need to reconnect them almost every day. For cold email, use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
SendGrid and other SMTP services. Supported, but you must also add an IMAP mailbox for the same address. Manyreach needs IMAP to read incoming emails, so it can detect replies and stop sequences. Without IMAP, a SendGrid connection won't work.
Any other provider (SMTP/IMAP). Enter your provider's SMTP and IMAP server, port and login. Every sender needs both: SMTP to send, IMAP to receive replies and warmup emails.
Many senders at once. Use Connect senders in bulk. Bulk connect uses SMTP/IMAP logins, so Google Workspace mailboxes need app passwords. Bulk OAuth isn't available, except for Manysenders mailboxes, which we connect for you.
Before you warm up or send, make sure each sending domain has SPF, DKIM and DMARC records at your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.). DNS changes can take 24 to 48 hours to apply. See SPF, DKIM, DMARC setup.
Tip: use a DMARC policy of p=none while warming up. A strict p=reject policy can make warmup emails bounce and disconnect your sender.
Don't want to do this yourself? Manysenders mailboxes come with the domain, DNS records and warmup already set up (see section 5).
Keep warmup running all the time, including between campaigns. It keeps your senders' reputation healthy.
Send no more than 20–25 cold emails per day per sender. To send more, add more senders instead of raising each sender's limit. Manysenders mailboxes have a fixed limit of 25 per day.
New Google Workspace accounts have lower limits from Google for their first weeks. See Daily user sending limit exceeded.
The Senders list shows which senders are disconnected. Most disconnections have one of these causes:
Password changed or access revoked. If you changed the mailbox password, revoked the app password, or your admin removed access, reconnect the sender with the new login.
Microsoft 365 settings. Authenticated SMTP or IMAP got turned off. Turn them back on, wait 30 minutes, then reconnect. If that fails, remove the sender and add it again. See Microsoft 365 senders not connecting.
Personal Outlook.com / Hotmail account. Microsoft blocks automation on free accounts, so frequent disconnects are expected. Switch to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Your provider flags logins from multiple IPs. Some providers lock the mailbox or force a password reset when they see connections from different IP addresses. The fix is a private IP: all connections then come from one static IP. A private IP is included in the Business and Agency plans, can be added to other plans, and is part of UltraMode for lifetime owners.
Strict DMARC policy. A p=reject policy can bounce warmup emails. Change it to p=none.
Mailbox full. Some providers (for example Zoho) disconnect full mailboxes. Free up space, then reconnect.
Expired domain, DNS or billing. If your domain expired, your MX records changed, or the card on your email provider expired, the mailbox stops receiving mail. Fix it with your provider, then reconnect.
Sending too fast. If a sender disconnects often, increase the delay between emails at the sender level (for example from 5 to 10 minutes).
If warmup emails keep bouncing, the sender goes into a 4-hour cool-off and may be removed from the warmup pool. See What is the warm-up cooldown period. After reconnecting, re-enable warmup with the flame icon in the Senders list.
A sender can only be connected to one Manyreach account at a time. If the address is still connected to another account (for example an old account you no longer use or can't log into), send one email from that address to [email protected]. This confirms you own it, and we'll remove the sender from the previous account so you can connect it to your new one.
Manysenders mailboxes are bought through Manyreach and come fully set up: domain, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, US sending IPs, warmup and connection to your account. They're usually ready within 24 hours.
Between campaigns: there's no need to pause your mailboxes. Just leave them out of active campaigns and keep warmup running, so they stay ready to send.
You own the accounts: you get the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 admin account, so you can log in to your mailboxes and use them anywhere, not only in Manyreach.
Your domains are yours: domains are always registered in your name. If you cancel the Manysenders mailboxes on a domain, you can ask support to transfer the domain to another registrar.
Cancel: Manysenders → Past orders → gear icon → Cancel mailbox. It stays active until the end of the paid period. See How to cancel Manysenders.
Contact support with the sender's email address, the exact error message (a screenshot helps), and when it started. Mailboxes that disappeared from your account, or Manysenders mailboxes that won't connect after you paid, always need a person to check them.
